What This Service Covers
We accept orders for bridal dresses and evening gowns, and we alter them. You will have a finely tailored dress that is well-designed, comfortable and correct for the day — not one you have to hold together.
Bridal work is booked around your date. Bring the gown, the shoes and the undergarments you will actually wear, and we will build the fittings backwards from the wedding.

How It Works
Pricing is quoted at the fitting. Cloth, construction and the extent of the work all change the price, so we quote once we have seen the garment. Same-day service is available for most alterations — call (617) 482-1111 to check today’s capacity.
Bring It In
Walk in with the garment — no appointment needed. Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it.
Fitted & Quoted
We pin the work on you, confirm exactly what will change, and quote the price and turnaround before anything is cut.
Collect
Try it on before you leave. If it is not right, it goes straight back on the bench.
Bridal & Formal FAQs
As early as you can — two to three months before the date is comfortable. We can work to shorter timelines, but call the shop first so we can plan the fittings.
Typically two or three. The first pins the shape, the second confirms it, and the last is a final check close to the date.
The shoes you will wear on the day and the exact undergarments. Both change the fit and the finished hem length significantly.
